Welcome to Gear Up MMA (“the App,” “we,” “our,” “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using Gear Up MMA, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully, as they form a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you”) and Gear Up MMA LLC, a company registered in the State of Texas.
✔ You must be 18 years or older to use the App.
✔ If under 18, you must have parent/guardian consent.
✔ By using the App, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.
✔ Gear Up MMA connects users with local gyms, trainers, and martial arts schools (“Partner Gyms”).
✔ We do not own, operate, or directly supervise these gyms.
✔ All training, services, and fitness activities are provided solely by Partner Gyms.
✔ MMA, combat sports, and fitness training carry significant risk of injury, illness, or death.
✔ By using Gear Up MMA, you acknowledge and assume all risks.
✔ Gear Up MMA and its affiliates are not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from:
✔ Training at Partner Gyms
✔ Misuse of equipment
✔ Actions of trainers or other users
✔ You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Gear Up MMA, its owners, affiliates, and partners from any claims.
✔ Partner Gyms are independent entities, not employees or agents of Gear Up MMA.
✔ Each Partner Gym is responsible for:
✔ Maintaining proper licenses, insurance, and certifications.
✔ Ensuring a safe training environment.
✔ Complying with local laws and regulations.
✔ Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
✔ Fees are disclosed at the time of booking.
✔ Refund/Credit Policy:
✔ Cancel 6+ hours before session → Full refund.
✔ Cancel 3–6 hours before session → Credit toward a future session.
✔ Cancel less than 3 hours before session or no-show → No refund.
✔ Membership or subscription fees are non-refundable, unless required by law.
You agree not to:
✔ Misrepresent your identity or health condition.
✔ Harass, threaten, or abuse trainers, staff, or other users.
✔ Violate gym rules, app rules, or applicable laws.
✔ Use the App for any fraudulent, harmful, or illegal purpose.
✔ Gear Up MMA is not a medical provider.
✔ Consult a physician before starting any training program.
✔ By using the App, you confirm that you are medically cleared to participate.
✔ All trademarks, content, and logos are owned by Gear Up MMA LLC.
✔ You may not copy, modify, distribute, or resell any part of the App.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
✔ Violate these Terms
✔ Abuse the platform or Partner Gyms
✔ Engage in fraudulent activity
✔ Inactive accounts are automatically deleted after 2 years of non-use.
✔ Any disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under Texas law.
✔ Class action lawsuits are waived; disputes must be resolved individually.
✔ These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
✔ We may update these Terms at any time.
✔ Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
